Dome School Inc.
Mission
The Dome School nurtures the whole child through a cooperative, non-hierarchical approach to education. We ignite a lifelong love of learning by fostering academic excellence, creativity, and emotional growth in a diverse and nurturing environment. By integrating families, community, and nature into our educational process, we empower children to become compassionate leaders and stewards of a changing world.
Vision
The Dome School is a vibrant learning community where students thrive academically, emotionally, and socially. Our graduates emerge as confident, compassionate individuals with a lifelong love of learning. They possess the skills to think critically, communicate effectively, and collaborate harmoniously. Rooted in their experiences at our school, they approach challenges with creativity and resilience. Our students are actively engaged in their local community, fostering understanding and positive change. As they grow, they carry forward the values of environmental stewardship and social responsibility, contributing thoughtfully to society's progress. Through our continued dedication to holistic, child-centered education, we nurture individuals who are well-prepared to lead fulfilling lives and make meaningful contributions to their communities and beyond.
Goals
- 1.To expand access to our innovative education model by increasing our budget and scholarship capacity. We aim to partner with foundations to offer more need-based scholarships, enabling a diverse range of families to benefit from our child-centered approach. This expansion will allow us to serve more students while maintaining our commitment to academic excellence and holistic development.
- 2.To strengthen our core educational program by enhancing institutional capacity through competitive employee compensation and benefits. We aim to attract and retain exceptional educators and staff who embody our cooperative, child-centered philosophy. By investing in our team, we ensure the continued delivery of our innovative curriculum, fostering educational excellence and student success.
