Vision

We envision an Oregon where people with permanent physical disabilities have equitable access to the tools, resources, and community support needed to live independently, participate fully in civic life, and thrive in their communities.

Goals

1. 1.Strengthen the Foundation’s long-term sustainability through responsible asset growth, diversified revenue, and strong governance. Priorities include portfolio growth, optimizing the Cedar Creek Quarry asset, expanding fundraising capacity, and building leadership through board development and an Advisory Council.
2. 2.Increase equitable access to funding for Oregonians with permanent physical disabilities, particularly in rural and underserved communities. We are improving grant accessibility, simplifying applications, expanding outreach to disability-serving nonprofits, and strengthening partnerships across Oregon’s independent living and disability advocacy networks.
3. 3.Expand mission impact through strategic partnerships with nonprofits serving individuals with permanent physical disabilities. Our new organizational grant initiative provides funding for community programs, capacity building, and services that increase independence, accessibility, and long-term community inclusion.
