Vision

We envision a Kenya—and ultimately, all of East Africa—where every child is safe, every woman is empowered, and every community has access to clean water, healing, education, and the opportunity to thrive; a future where vulnerable families are not only lifted out of crisis, but equipped to live with dignity, hope, and lasting self-sufficiency through compassionate service, strong partnerships, and sustainable change.

Goals

1. 1.Our goal is to expand our impact by strengthening local partnerships and focusing on the successful initiatives in the areas of clean water, trauma care, education, youth and women’s empowerment, and investing in community-led leadership. This sustainable development and strategic collaboration, we allow us, and have allowed us to reach more vulnerable families, youth, and women across Kenya.
2. 2.Our strategic plan is to prioritize programs most aligned with our mission—clean water, trauma-informed care, education, youth and women’s empowerment—focusing resources where impact is strongest based on past evaluations and metrics. Initiatives that fall outside these core priorities will be scaled back so we can deepen effectiveness, sustainability, and long-term community transformation.
3. 3.GDP's goal is 'Presence' - meaning, we will go where others will not—into hard, forgotten, and underserved places—walking with children, women, and families day by day. By choosing to be faithfully present, even in crisis and trauma, we live out our calling to restore dignity, expand hope, and build pathways to a thriving future. Our programs show that!
