Mission

School Safety Institution is a nonprofit organization based in San Diego, California. Our mission is to improve safety on school campuses by working closely with parents, school districts, law enforcement, and professionals to develop effective, community-based school safety plans that help save lives in the event of an attack. We believe that school safety is a shared community responsibility, and that prevention starts at home, in the classroom, and across neighborhoods.
