Vision

Our vision is to see individuals, youth, and families restored, empowered, and transformed through compassionate faith-based care, where those impacted by hardship, displacement, trauma, emotional struggles, or justice-system involvement encounter hope, healing, purpose, and the love of Christ. We aspire to build stronger communities through outreach, mentorship, discipleship, counseling support, reentry and reintegration services, and collaborative partnerships that foster lasting restoration, reduced recidivism, healthy relationships, spiritual growth, and pathways toward stability and wholeness.

Goals

1. 1.Develop and expand faith-based outreach, mentorship, family reintegration, and supportive care programs in response to increasing community needs among unhoused individuals, justice-involved youth, families in crisis, and individuals experiencing emotional and behavioral health challenges, while strengthening pathways toward stability, healing, accountability, and long-term community support.
2. 2.Increase access to existing outreach, mentorship, chaplaincy, counseling support, family restoration, and reintegration services by expanding community partnerships, volunteer engagement, resource distribution, and supportive programming for unhoused individuals, justice-involved youth, and families experiencing crisis, emotional hardship, or barriers to stability and care.
3. 3.Strengthen the organizational capacity of Calm in the Wilderness Ministries through sustainable funding, volunteer development, leadership growth, operational systems, community partnerships, technology, and resource expansion to increase the effectiveness, reach, and long-term sustainability of outreach, mentorship, chaplaincy, reintegration, and family support services.
