The YMCA of San Francisco builds strong kids, strong families and strong communities by enriching the lives of all people in spirit, mind and body. We stand for youth development, social responsibility and healthy living. The Y is and always will be dedicated to building healthy, confident, connected and secure children, adults, families and communities. Every day our impact is felt when an individual makes a healthy choice, when a mentor inspires a child and when a community comes together for the common good. For 160 years, the YMCA of San Francisco has provided comprehensive programs and services to meet the diverse needs of the Bay Area. At 14 branches and 120 program sites from Marin to the Santa Cruz Mountains, the Y's programs help generations of individuals to learn, grow and thrive. From swim classes, health programs, counseling session, senior activities and job readiness training, the YMCA of San Francisco provides the resources each neighborhood needs.
