We believe in the power of music to connect people, celebrate cultures, and transform lives.

Goals

1. 1.CMC is working to establish a free, safe community that takes care of our students and allows them to take risks, where people are empowered to use their creativity to meet community needs and solve problems. We amplify voices that are often silenced, providing them with an outlet to share their own stories and facilitate community transformation in the process.
2. 2.To increase enrollment by 3% annually. Currently, we are at 75-100% of capacity during weekday peak hours (3:00 - 8:00 p.m.); therefore, we will focus on increasing enrollment on weekdays outside of peak hours and on weekends. CMC also plans to expand access to the tuition assistance program by increasing tuition-free programs and access to sliding scale tuition assistance.
3. 3.Three interconnected priorities guide CMC's plan to increase capacity. The first is people: investing in attracting, engaging, and retaining stakeholders. Second is place: investing in the infrastructure of our facilities, and expanding CMC's impact in the San Francisco Arts landscape. Our third strategy is improving operation processes and growing our organizational infrastructure.
