    Mission

Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA is a private nonprofit animal welfare organization that builds healthy relationships between people and animals. As an open-door shelter, we accept dogs, cats, small mammals, exotic pets, and farm animals regardless of their age, size, or species. Our primary programs and services include lost and found, supportive medical or behavioral care for stray and unwanted animals, and adoptions. 100% of our healthy, adoptable dogs and cats are guaranteed a new home! Staff and volunteers rehabilitate sick, injured, and orphaned wildlife from San Francisco, San Mateo, and Santa Clara counties. Other major programs include cruelty investigation, community education and outreach, pet food bank, low-cost spay/neuter, animal rescue, pet assisted therapy, obedience classes, and more. This life-saving work is made possible by volunteers and donations.
