Boys & Girls Clubs of the Peninsula

Mission

Founded in 1958, the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Peninsula provides the low-income students of our community with the opportunities they need to achieve school success. The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Peninsula provides places where young people aged 5-18 are welcome and receive year-round services. At each of the Club's now twelve sites located in the most challenged areas of Menlo Park, East Palo Alto and Redwood City, California, trained and caring staff and a cadre of volunteers work through a broad range of programs. Over 2,300 students are served every year.

1.Impact Expansion: -Open 8 new sites in northern San Mateo County communities with greatest unmet need -Grow select programs that have high potential for growth and impact to help more students thrive
2.Student Experience: Develop a consistent culture of active student engagement across all youth development spaces to optimize program impact
3.Talent: Ensure we have quality staff to meet students' needs Financial sustainability: -Grow to fuel our increased annual operating budget & capital projects -Determine optimal program cost model
