2. 2.Empowered Communities: prioritize collaborative engagement, training, and apprenticeship opportunities to ensure our conservation efforts, including habitat restoration, are informed by diverse voices and insights reflecting the cultural, historical, social, and ecological contexts in which we work. This strengthens our ability to create equitable, effective, and resilient conservation solutions.
3. 3.Policy Engagement: leverage our scientific expertise to strategically connect policy leaders with the best available science and bridge local action with global conservation frameworks. Recognizing that impactful conservation is human-centered, we integrate social science and ecological research to advance science-based policies grounded in community values that resonate with diverse stakeholders.
