Vision

We are building a world in which everyone belongs, lives in conditions that enable them to develop and thrive as human beings, including good education, quality health care, affordable housing, clean water, and decent jobs, and has a say in the decisions that shape their lives.

Goals

1. 1.We build power in communities most affected by injustice — supporting 45 U.S. federations with 3,000+ congregations to advance racial and social justice, and grassroots organizing in 15 countries across Latin America, the Caribbean, Africa, and Eastern Europe to win clean water, land rights, health care, housing, and schools.
2. 2.We strengthen democracy from the bottom up — organizing people of faith in the U.S. to defend voting rights, protect immigrant families, expand education, and reduce mass incarceration, while globally building an organized civil society that holds governments accountable in 15 countries.
3. 3.Our deepest goal is developing new leaders — especially people most directly impacted by injustice, women and young people — who can win their own liberation. Through our organizing model, regular people build organizations to negotiate change and see themselves as powerful agents in the world. In 2025, more than 9,000 leaders in 350 communities across 13 countries put these skills into practice.
