Mission

Mission Statement The mission of Orinda Network for Education (ONE) is to preserve and enhance Orinda’s signature educational programs and provide for exceptional teachers and staff to promote continued academic excellence for every student in Orinda schools. ONE strengthens, streamlines, and amplifies the collective fundraising efforts of Parents’ Clubs and the Orinda community.

A connected Orinda community where collective investment in education empowers every student and sustains exceptional public schools for generations.

Goals

1.Expand and sustain funding to ensure all Orinda students have consistent access to enriched academic programs and exceptional educators. Strengthen and align community-wide fundraising efforts to grow resources, increase impact, and support evolving school needs across every campus.
2.Prioritize funding for core academic programs and educator support that directly advance student outcomes. Evaluate and refine investments to ensure resources are focused on the highest-impact areas, while scaling back or discontinuing programs that do not align with ONE’s mission.
3.Strengthen ONE’s financial, management, and technical capacity to maximize impact and sustainability. Invest in systems, staff, and tools that improve efficiency and decision-making, while providing Parents’ Clubs with the resources and support needed to enhance fundraising and coordination across the community.
