As the interpretive center of the Lower American River, the Effie Yeaw Nature Center, operated by the American River Natural History Association, brings awareness of the beauty and diversity of the natural world to children, families, and the community. Through welcoming education that inspires appreciation, enjoyment, and stewardship for all ages, we invite everyone to explore and protect the unique natural and cultural resources of the Sacramento region.
