Valley Humane Society Inc.

Mission

Valley Humane Society rescues and coordinates companion animal adoptions from its Nevada Street Adoption Center, performs affordable spay/neuter surgeries for the public and more than 40 community rescue partners through its Phil Scholz Veterinary Surgery Center, provides consistent mental health support for the community through its Canine Comfort Pet-Assisted Therapy program, and supports pet guardians in need through the AniMeals Pet Food Pantry and Medical Assistance Fund programs.

3.Valley Humane Society staff will receive training to understand and identify and properly react to those community members that are experiencing a mental health issue.
