In advancing health equity, our ultimate goal is to build generational health and wealth and to improve the overall wellbeing of the communities we serve.

Goals

1. 1.Increasing Access to Quality Care AHS Foundation helps increase access to AHS’s highest quality care for the lowest-resourced communities and combats inequities in health care provision, from cancer to perinatal services, to extending services beyond the walls of AHS’s facilities into homeless encampments to deliver primary care and dental services.
2. 2.Addressing Unmet Social Needs AHS Foundation helps AHS connect patients and their families with community-based resources to address social needs and improve their health including access to nutritious food, housing, legal services, and social services, fostering intergenerational health and wealth.
3. 3.Building a Community-Centered Workforce AHS Foundation helps AHS become the most diverse, community-centered workforce committed to eliminating health disparities and promoting health and well-being for all. Workforce development ranges from HealthPATH, a workforce development internship program for youth from the communities AHS serves; to ongoing professional development.
