Vision

We envision a community of educators, scientists, families and partners working together to build school cultures that equip all children to explore the world around them and build the skills needed to become innovators, problem solvers, environmental stewards, life-long learners and leaders.

Goals

1. 1.CRS will adopt strategies to achieve our vision of transforming TK- Grade 8 science teaching through sustained, responsive partnership toward greater equity and justice embedded in joyful learning experiences that foster wonder and inspiration, empower exploration and discovery, and build a sense of belonging, expanding the geographic reach and impact of our programs.
2. 2.We will add to our equity-centered, standards-aligned direct educator support to provide greater differentiation for teacher needs, and to address growing interest in climate change and environmental justice. We will add new components to our outreach programs engaging science professionals from academia and industry, expanding Ambassadors, STEM Career, mentoring, and elementary programs.
3. 3.We will build the capacity of our CRS team, add specialist expertise, and update and document all policies, procedures and timelines to ensure the organization can meet our program growth with efficiency, and to ensure strong succession planning for sustainability as we approach 30 year anniversary.
