Goals

1. 1.BASIC Fund has achieved record growth, increasing annual fundraising from $10M to more than $18M in one year while building a $50M Scholarship Foundation. These milestones are creating more scholarships than ever and fueling investments in technology, operations, and talent that will enable us to serve more students and families and scale our impact for years to come.
2. 2.As demand for BASIC Fund scholarships grows, our team has expanded our fundraising capacity and invested in technology that streamlines the experiences of our beneficiaries. We have also improved data management, refined internal processes, and developed management practices that help us operate more effectively. These investments allow us to steward resources with transparency and accountability.
3. 3.In recent years, we have expanded our work to better support the long-term success of our alumni. In 2023, we launched an Alumni Program to equip BASIC Fund alumni with financial and educational resources beyond 8th-grade graduation. We have also formed an Alumni Advisory Board, a group that will provide student perspectives while representing BASIC Fund within the broader community.
