THE PRIMARY PURPOSE OF (CONT'D ON SCHEDULE O) LCMC IS TO CREATE, MAINTAIN, AND GROW HEALTH CARE SERVICES CONSISTENT WITH ITS OPERATION OF WEST JEFFERSON MEDICAL CENTER, UNIVERSITY HEALTHCARE SYSTEM AND THE CHARITABLE MISSION OF THE LCMC AFFILIATES. LCMC PROVIDES SUPPORT AND MANAGEMENT SERVICES TO THE SYSTEM ENTITIES SO THAT THE ENTITIES IN TURN CAN FOCUS THEIR EFFORTS ON CARRYING OUT THEIR EXEMPT PURPOSES.
