Alliance for Children's Rights

Mission

The Alliance’s mission is to protect the rights of impoverished, abused, and neglected children and youth by providing free legal and social services and promoting systemic solutions. Our dedicated staff, working with over 800 pro bono attorneys and community volunteers annually, represent and advocate for youth and families impacted by our child welfare systems. Since 1992, the Alliance has provided critical direct services to over 180,000 children and young adults in Los Angeles and improved the lives of thousands more through meaningful systemic reforms.
