Mission

The mission of My Day Counts is to train people with intellectual and other developmental disabilities for success in life and work. We accomplish this by offering a variety of programs designed to enrich the lives of the individuals we serve and enable them to achieve their full potential. We provide support for people of all abilities, including employment, classroom and community-based instruction, recreational activities, housing, case management, advocacy support, in-home education, independent living support, and transportation.

Goals

1.Several of our innovative programs are not currently operating at capacity. We are focused on filling capacity because the funding we receive allows us to increase activities within those programs.
2.Our Workforce Development and Access to Higher Education Initiatives are successful programs. By scaling these activities for all participants we are helping them reach their full potential.
3.Independent Living Skills are essential for all participants to be able to exercise newly learned skills. Without increasing this program we are hindering participant growth.
