    San Diego Rescue Mission

    Mission

    The San Diego Rescue Mission believes every person deserves the chance to rebuild their life with dignity and hope. Since 1955, the non-profit lovingly addresses the needs of men, women and children experiencing homelessness, hunger, poverty and abuse by sharing the Good News of Salvation and providing a holistic approach to rehabilitation and recovery. Through counseling, addiction recovery, education, job training, and housing assistance, they help individuals become self-sufficient members of society once again. Rooted in compassion and proven results, their countywide services include a 12-month residential program for men, women, and children, 30-day emergency shelters, daily street outreach, a Children’s Resource Center, and community hunger relief.
