Mission

The mission of the Boys & Girls Club of Laguna Beach, which also serves the Saddleback Valley, is to EMPOWER all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as healthy, caring, contributing members of society. We do this by promoting the healthy social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development of young people. Our vision is to be a thriving asset to our community - valued, vibrant, and supported for empowering every child who walks through our doors, giving them an extra edge in life while having fun.

Our vision is to provide a relationship rich experience that assures success is within reach of every young person who walks through our doors.

Goals

1.Continue to strengthen our Trauma Informed Practices. There is an unprecedented level of young people feeling isolated and anxious, regardless of where they live. The rich relationships that young people develop with our mentors and each other coupled with the enriching experiences they have at our Club are powerful ways to help them develop positive buffering factors early in their lives.
2.Increase the daily participation of Club members by 15% over the next 3 years. We will incentivize and recognize their participation in programs and recruit even more teens to join our Club.
3.To serve more young people in more meaningful ways and catalyze the community to meet the evolving needs of those youngsters by helping them learn and grow in a safe and fun environment.
