What are this organization’s external mobilizaton efforts?
World Vision participates in several strategic partnerships, including InterAction, which serves as a convener, thought leader, and voice for NGOs working to eliminate extreme poverty, strengthen human rights and citizen participation, safeguard a sustainable planet, promote peace, and ensure dignity for all people. Additionally, our U.S. Programs have served the most vulnerable communities since 1981, including 1) Distribution of Gift-in-Kind resources to partners in the U.S. via seven brick-and-mortar storehouse locations; 2) Emergency/disaster relief work (e.g., Kentucky tornados, COVID-19 response); and 3) Educational work (social and emotional learning kits, afterschool mentoring/tutoring, literacy tools, STEAM, etc.). In all three lines of ministry, we work directly with churches to help develop their community-building capacity to ensure that their impact in the community is sustainable and amplified appropriately.
