Mission

The mission of the Lawrence Family Jewish Community Center, Jacobs Family Campus (JCC) is to provide social, cultural, educational, and recreational programs to individuals and families of all ages, religions, races, financial abilities, and physical and mental abilities. Likewise, the JCC provides equal opportunity employment to individuals of all religions and backgrounds. The JCC welcomes San Diego's diverse Jewish community and the community at large. Membership at the JCC provides a wide variety of outstanding social, cultural, recreational, and educational activities for people of all ages. Our programs and services celebrate family, foster health and well-being, embrace tradition, create friendships, and expand cultural horizons.

The Lawrence Family Jewish Community Center, JACOBS FAMILY CAMPUS (JCC) is widely recognized as San Diego's Center for Jewish culture, community, and heritage and a highly sought-after partner for the county's Jewish (and secular) organizations. We are a hub for Jewish experience and connection with a powerfully realized, extensive and deeply embedded culture of welcome and engagement for all ages and stages of life; a force for Jewish connection and engagement throughout the region.
