Humane Society of Ventura County

Mission

The Humane Society of Ventura County through shelter, adoptions, programs and services, boldly ensures the welfare of animals in Ventura County.

Vision

By fulfilling our mission, we will provide a safe environment for homeless, neglected or abused animals. We will also help reduce overpopulation by promoting and providing spay and neutering services. We strive to reduce the length of stay for our shelter animals and want to increase overall adoptions.

Goals

1.Reduce the length of stay for animals in our care. It can be stressful for animals living in a shelter environment, so we strive to reduce the length of their stay.
2.Have our Executive Director and Board of Directors work with a consultant to create a strategic plan for HSVC.
