Mission

The Western Los Angeles County Council supports individuals, families, and community organizations by providing values-based recreational and educational programs and activities that develop young people of character as defined by the Scout Oath and the Scout Law.

Vision

A world in which people make ethical decisions throughout their lives.

Goals

1.In our Outreach program we bring Scouting to as many low-income, disadvantaged youth in our service area as we can. To accomplish this, we provide uniforms, programming, and membership free of charge.
2.Provide access to outdoor activities to youth who inside and outside of Scouting. We do through our camps and outdoor programming.
3.Provide support and resources to all youth and adult leaders enrolled in the Scouting program so that they can grow and thrive.
