Mission

Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Southern California was founded in 1977. The mission of our organization is to provide comfort, care and support to children and families in Southern California. We express this mission primarily through Ronald McDonald Houses located in Los Angeles (2 Locations), Pasadena, Loma Linda, Long Beach, Orange County and Bakersfield, through Camp Ronald McDonald for Good Times, a cost-free sleep away camp for children with cancer and their siblings located in the mountains near Idyllwild, and three Ronald McDonald Family Rooms in Orange County (2) and Ventura (1). The Southern California chapter of Ronald McDonald House Charities is the largest in the United States.

Goals

1.Our goal is to serve more families better. This includes seeking family input to align programs with their needs and preferences, expanding program capacity to meet demand, enhancing the depth and quality of programs to maximize the impact and providing best in class customer service.
2.Our goal is to strategically plan for sustainable revenue growth. By evaluating and implementing optimized operational structure(s), processes and systems we are committed to maximizing revenue to directly support our programs. The organization is committed to establishing, tracking and analyzing benchmarks and metrics to continuously measure success and opportunities for improvement.
3.Our goals in to enhance our collaboration efforts with Ronald McDonald House Charities Global, Board of Directors, Boards of Trustees, complementary partner organizations, medical partners, corporate partners to best serve our families.
