Mission

Hospice SLO County is a non-medical volunteer service organization and community grief center. We believe that the end of life deserves as much respect as the beginning. We support San Luis Obispo County residents who are grieving a death or coping with a life-limiting illness or facing end of life. All Hospice SLO County Services are provided at no charge, and we do not bill insurance. We depend 100% on community donations, fundraising events, grants, bequests, planned gifts, and the time and talent of over 120 volunteers to serve our clients annually.
