    Mission

    The Peninsula Education Foundation (PEF), a 501(c) nonprofit organization, provides funding for designated academic and enrichment programs as well as critical staff positions in the Palos Verdes Peninsula Unified School District. <br><br>The PEF's mission is to raise funds to not only maintain what Palos Verdes Peninsula public schools provide children, but to increase the quality of the school's instructional programs -- ensuring that our students continue to compete on a national and international level in college and beyond. <br><br>The Palos Verdes Peninsula Unified School District's schools are among the top performing schools in the state: <br><br>*98% of our graduating seniors immediately attend college. <br><br>*Both high comprehensive high schools rank in the "Top 100 High Schools in the Nation" according to US News and World Report and Newsweek's "Gold Medal Schools"
