Peninsula Education Foundation

Mission

The Peninsula Education Foundation (PEF), a 501(c) nonprofit organization, provides funding for designated academic and enrichment programs as well as critical staff positions in the Palos Verdes Peninsula Unified School District. The PEF's mission is to raise funds to not only maintain what Palos Verdes Peninsula public schools provide children, but to increase the quality of the school's instructional programs -- ensuring that our students continue to compete on a national and international level in college and beyond. The Palos Verdes Peninsula Unified School District's schools are among the top performing schools in the state: *98% of our graduating seniors immediately attend college. *Both high comprehensive high schools rank in the "Top 100 High Schools in the Nation" according to US News and World Report and Newsweek's "Gold Medal Schools"
