California Community Foundation

Mission

For over a century, the California Community Foundation (CCF) has partnered with donors, nonprofits, funders, policymakers and others to tackle major challenges and improve the quality of life for all Angelinos. As a community foundation, CCF is committed to addressing the complex challenges and unleashing the extraordinary potential of Los Angeles County. Since 2004, we and our donors have granted more than $3.9 billion, transforming communities in Los Angeles and across the globe. CCF is home to more than 1,900 funds, with assets of nearly $2.29 billion (as of June 30, 2023). Every dollar we give through our discretionary grantmaking programs represents a donor's legacy and a dream for lasting change. From health and education to immigration, arts, housing and economic development, we seek to empower and uplift the communities we serve.
