Mission

California Family Life Center's mission is to provide safety, comfort and healing to children suffering abuse and abandonment; to teach love and trust; to instill self-esteem, values and hope for the future - and in so doing, assist children trapped in hopelessness and despair become compassionate and contributing members of the community.

Goals

1.CFLC has added programs to address child welfare Prevention and Intervention. SafeCare and Strengthening Families are both programs designed to intervene and bolster the strength of the family.
2.CFLC successfully converted our group homes to STRTPs with an in-house, mental health department. It is our aim to continue to expand these services for those served via our foster agency.
3.Through our partnerships with the California Alliance of Child and Family Services, the CalNonprofits Association, and the National Youth Employment Coalition, we continue to advocate for and join partnerships within our State and local community. Our goal is to send 2 separate teams of staff and youth each year to advocate in Washington, DC, for our existing programs.
