Vision

We envision a world where theatre is a mirror, reflecting back our virtues and our vices, our triumphs and failures, our beauties and our blemishes, our delights and our sorrows. The mirror doesn’t hide any of it, encapsulating every ounce of the human condition, and there’s something intrinsically inside us that yearns to gaze into this mirror. Live storytelling is deeply intertwined with the human experience. When the curtain rises and we sit side-by-side, we become one, sharing an individual experience that only those in the room on that specific occasion will experience. Each performance creates a magical connection between actor and audience. The relationship is symbiotic, feeding off of exactly what the other needs. The storytelling becomes urgent; the stakes become heightened, drawing us directly into the center of their world. It feels like they are speaking directly to each of us, and in a way, they are connecting uniquely to each of our experiences, ideas, and imaginations.

Goals

1. 1.For the theatre school: To encourage young people to explore the adventures of live performance. To inspire the skills and confidence they need to excel in any profession.
2. 2.For our mainstage: To bring 7 world-class productions to our 40,000 plus audience members annually. To offer a wide array of variety night programming to appeal to theatre goers of all kinds.
