Vision

Forty years ago, our visionaries believed LA County deserved a world-class public arts high school: The Los Angeles County High School for the Arts (LACHSA). They were right. Now, it’s our turn. We believe LACHSA is worth every investment. LACHSA’s impact is everywhere you turn - through the brilliance of its student artists, the creative innovation of its programs, and the global achievements of its alumni. Now is our time to guarantee the next 40 years of a public high school that continues to graduate fearlessly authentic student artists from five arts disciplines in Dance, Theatre, Cinematic Arts, Visual Arts and Music.

Goals

1. 1.LACHSA Foundation's primary goal is to raise critical funding to benefit the five exemplary, conservatory level arts disciplines at LACHSA, a specialized public high school for the arts serving Los Angeles County's multicultural and exceptionally talented student artists. Only 50% of LACHSA’s exemplary arts education budget is funded by the state. Our investment each year sustains this program.
2. 2.The LACHSA Foundation also raises awareness for LACHSA, sharing its story with the world. LACHSA’s impact is everywhere you turn - through the brilliance of its student artists, the creative innovation of its high school programs, and the global achievements of its alumni.
