Vision

Angel Flight West envisions a culture of care in which all people have access to health care and other essential services regardless of social, economic, or geographic circumstances.

Goals

1. 1.Our New Horizons initiative, launched in 2026, aims to serve 50% more people by 2030. This new goal realigns AFW around a clear objective that will guide strategies, focused efforts, and results over the next five years. We have identified measurable results metrics to track our progress, and developed strategies to drive meaningful, sustainable growth and impact.
2. 2.To increase the number of people served, we focus on three key program areas for each of the states we operate in (called Wings): Community Outreach and Education, Volunteer Engagement, and Mission Operations (arranging the flights).
3. 3.Support of AFW produces an exceptional return on investment. Because all flight costs are donated, each dollar awarded allows us to provide $3-$4 in services. Capacity-building activities include technology upgrades to improve efficiency and an initiative to maximize volunteer utilization. Our reserve fund ensures that we have the resources to weather unforeseen challenges.
