Hawaiian Humane Society

Mission

The Hawaiian Humane Society is dedicated to promoting the human-animal bond and the humane treatment of all animals. Hawaiian Humane is committed to being the animal welfare organization Oʻahu’s animals need and deserve by embracing an animal sheltering model called People and Animals in Community Together (PACT), which emphasizes shared responsibility and collaboration in support of people and their pets. With the nine tenets of PACT as a compass, Hawaiian Humane is dedicated to fostering a culture of transparency, ethical decision making, mutual respect, continual learning and collaboration. Hawaiian Humane is a non-profit education and advocacy organization that shelters, protects, rescues, reunites and rehomes animals.
