    Aloha United Way

    Mission

    Aloha United Way brings resources, organizations, and people together to advance the health, education, and financial stability of every person in our community. We operationalize this mission by conducting an annual fundraising campaign which supports over 320 agencies across the State of Hawaii. A portion of the donations are designated directly to agencies and these gifts are passed without administrative fee to the agency. The remainder of the campaign proceeds are administered by a group of volunteers to address our communities most serious problems. These awards are made competitively using an RFP process. Finally, Aloha United Way operates the 211 Information and Referral Service, Volunteer Hawaii and Hawaii Gifts-in-Kind. These services are all free and offered across the state.
