Mission

Damascus House transforms men who are dependent upon self and substances through ways to escape addiction where they can be rescued (from themselves and their addiction), redeemed (to a right relationship with Jesus, set free from bondage), and restored (to their families and friends). The ultimate goal is that they become disciples with a Christ-Centered Hope and Future through the message of the Gospel.

This ministry has been received well by the leadership of Georgetown County and, the inmates who have struggled with substance abuse. This is the only program of its kind in the state of South Carolina. thereafter we offer them 10-month addiction recovery residency center assistance.
2.Damascus House acquires 50 acres of land in Georgetown County, SC where we will develop a residential facility for up to 60 men. At the facility, these men will be rescued, redeemed and restored to God’s plan for their lives. The program is 10 months of immersion content. There will be an on-site industry where men will learn an excellent work ethic and how to lead and run a small business.
3.Damascus House secures a partnership with Dunklin Memorial Recovery Center in Okeechobee, Florida. This partnership engenders a synergistic relationship between this Dunklin Memorial (Mentor) and Damascus House (Mentee) whereby continuous learning and improvement are shared; staff assignment exchanges occur; and clients are referred to each other's facility when resident capacities are reached.
