The nonprofit has an opportunity to tell the story of how the organization adapted to tremendous external changes in the last year.
While navigating a new partnership we experienced delays and roadblocks. We were contracted to provide services by the superintendent, the partnership rollout was not as effective as it could have been. There was a lot of pushback from teachers unions and counselors. When faced with this, our organization continued to show up, be as transparent as possible, and be open to explaining the work we do with kindness and clarity. With more intentional meetings, invitations to learn more about New Earth through events, and attending school board meetings - we were able to create better relationships with those who were hesitant about the collaboration.
