    Organization Mission

    The FORGE for Families is intent on serving as watchmen in the inner-city by holistically equiping families to fulfill their God-given potential by addressing the needs of the community, encouraging children & adults through children's programming (educational & athletic), practical parent training, pre-marital and marital counseling, and economic development which includes personal financial management and employment. The FORGE is a Christ-centered urban ministry that works with children & the whole family in and around Houston's most underresourced neighborhoods: the Second and Third Wards. We aim to encourage, equip, and enrich parents and students alike through: Athletic Programs,Academic Development, Career Development, Parent Enrichment and Spiritual Formation.
