The mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law. The Boy Scouts of America is the nation`s foremost youth program of character development and values-based leadership training. Since 1910, Scouting has helped mold the future leaders of this country by combining educational activities and lifelong values with fun. The Boy Scouts of America believes, and through nearly a century of experience, understands that helping youth puts us on a path towards a more conscientious, responsible, and productive society.
