Human Services : Social ServicesCN Advisory: High Concern
On December 1, 2016, The United States Attorney's Office, District of New Jersey reported on the operations of Good Samaritans of America, an alleged charity, in a press statement titled, "Ocean County, New Jersey, Woman Admits Role in $1 Million Medicare Fraud That Deceived Seniors Into Unnessesary [sic] DNA Tests." It has come to our attention that this organization is not registered with the IRS, but is soliciting from the general public in violation of federal tax law. For this reason, we have issued a High Concern CN Advisory. For more information, please see The United States Attorney's Office, District of New Jersey press statement.
