What are this organization’s external mobilizaton efforts?
We created a training and referral network in 2021 and have since trained dozens of agencies and hundreds of employees in our approach to care. As a result, a referral network of trained providers was formed and the client/patient referral process is much more streamlined between aligned agencies. The network has expanded outside of Los Angeles and California, growing a national presence and expansion through virtual services. Marketing and social media efforts continue through the use of Google Adwords as well as various social media platforms. Our CEO and other leaders frequently present at conferences and seminars, sharing successes and details regarding our unique model of care.
The nonprofit has an opportunity to tell the story of how the organization adapted to tremendous external changes in the last year.
There was an assumption among many that life would go back to normal after the various Covid restrictions were lifted, but in Los Angeles we've found that clients/patients now prefer the flexibility of hybrid service offerings. People of lack transportation, child care, or financial resources, and this can make it difficult to access services in person. Naturally, certain services such as medical care and most events remain in-person, and we encourage participation for our clients/patients, but we've also adapted to this new world by continuing to offer parenting classes, particularly our court-mandated classes, online. We have also added online case management, therapy, and telehealth services when appropriate.
