Watson Children's Shelter is dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing environment for children who have experienced abuse, neglect, abandonment or family crisis. Our vision is for all children to live healthy, happy, and productive lives. The five tenets that guide our work are community, compassion, integrity, excellence and stewardship. While some children may only be in our care for a few days, on average, children stay at the shelter for around 60 days. Some children may stay longer until their family crisis is resolved or longer-term supportive care can be arranged. We welcome children 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
