K9s For Warriors is the nation's largest provider of service dogs to disabled American veterans. Our goal is to empower Warriors to return to civilian life with dignity and independence. Our training program is focused on mitigating the symptoms associated with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), and Military Sexual Trauma (MST), with the end goal of preventing veteran suicide.

Every Warrior who walks through the door at K9s For Warriors is family. We provide them with an ADI-certified Service Canine, equipment, training, seminars, legal instruction, veterinary care, housing, home-cooked meals, unconditional love and listening, and a lifetime of wrap-around services, all at no cost to the Warrior.

Roughly 90% of our Service Dogs come from shelters or are owner-surrendered. Instead of a life of abandonment or euthanasia, these dogs are given a new purpose. With each graduate pair, we save two lives; we rescue the dog, and the dog rescues the Warrior.
