Catholic Charities of Buffalo is a Catholic sponsored human service agency serving anyone in need in the 8 counties of Western New York. Believing all persons are created by God, we empower individuals, children, families and couples to achieve and maintain meaningful, healthy and productive lives. We advocate for those in need, particularly those who are poor and most vulnerable.

Our mission-focused services include counseling for all ages, basic emergency assistance, mental health and chemical dependency treatment, educational and job readiness, older adult programs, parish outreach, marriage counseling, social adult day program, and programs that address prevention and treatment of a number of family issues. In 2015, Catholic Charities served nearly 132,000 Western New Yorkers without regard to age, race or religion. The agency received the 2015 Torch Award for Philanthropic Excellence from the Better Business Bureau Foundation of Upstate New York.
