Charity Navigator uses a base year when analyzing program expense growth. Catholic Charities of Buffalo’s base year used in determining the June 30, 2019 ratings was the fiscal year ending June 30, 2017. This base year includes program expenses related to two particularly large programs that were no longer a fit for our organization. Catholic Charities of Buffalo is continually vigilant in its efforts to strive to grow and invest in programs and services that align with our mission and meet the needs of the community we serve in Western New York.
