Since our founding in 1965, over 30,000 alumni have completed an AMIGOS program in 17 countries. Our program model has three major components, leadership development, cultural competence, and community engagement, as our newest video showcases at bit.ly/AMIGOSvirtual. They are connecting with one another across cultures to grow their cultural competence for a lifetime. They are implementing projects that address issues based on community needs and resources to strengthen their ability to serve. In response to the pandemic, we are offering programming in virtual, international, and U.S-based formats.
