Through lifesaving programs that lead the way nationally in impact and effectiveness, San Diego Humane Society inspires compassion for all animals - companion and wild - in San Diego County and beyond. San Diego Humane Society is a leader in providing innovative services, allowing us to ensure that no healthy or treatable animals are at risk of euthanasia in San Diego County. Whether preventing cruelty/neglect, providing low-cost community spay/neuter, rehabilitating wildlife or providing safety net services for all pet families needing assistance with keeping their pets, San Diego Humane Society is committed to meeting the varied needs of animals and the people who love them.

While our influence is expanding nationally, our top priority is meeting the needs of San Diego. Each year we take in and provide exceptional care for 50,000 companion and wild animals through world-class veterinary medicine, shelter and most of all: love.
