Educational Media Foundation (EMF) exists to create compelling media that encourages and inspires audiences to have a meaningful relationship with Christ. We began as a single radio station back in 1982 and have grown into the nation's two largest contemporary Christian radio networks, K-LOVE and Air1. We broadcast music and messages of the love and hope of Jesus in all 50 states on 900+ signals, reaching a population of 200 million, and are among the top 10 U.S.-based audio streaming companies. Our plan for 2020 is to branch out beyond radio and reach people through other forms of media, including faith-based films and books. In addition, we offer free Pastoral Care and Biblical Counseling services to our listeners, responding to an average of 400,000 prayer requests, engaging in 175,000 prayer calls, and intervening in 500 crisis situations every year. We do this as the only radio networks that employ a 33-person Pastoral Care team, comprised of 12 full-time ordained pastors.
