Vision: People and the environment thriving in a healthy balance.

Mission: We preserve the environment by partnering with families to improve well-being through sustainable farming.

Sustainable Harvest International provides farming families in Central America with the training and tools to preserve tropical forests and overcome poverty-all through sustainable agriculture.

Since 1997, Sustainable Harvest International's local field trainers have helped local individuals and families learn from each other and become more independent, rather than relying on outside aid.

Through participating in Sustainable Harvest International's innovative, hands-on, and long-term program, families become stewards of the environment, with increased incomes and better nutrition.

To date, Sustainable Harvest International has helped plant almost 4 million trees and has worked with more than 2,000 families. To learn more, visit www.sustainableharvest.org.
