Established in 1910, the Boy Scouts of America Orange County Council prepares young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetime by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Scout Law. In 2015, we served about 21,000 children and youth, ages 6-20, in Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Venturing and Exploring programs across Orange County by providing quality education, leadership skills and outdoor adventure activities. In addition, our four outdoor facilities provided educational and camping experiences to over 42,000 children and youth in Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, local school districts, youth organizations and individual youth and families. We support 10,336 registered volunteers who contributed over 1 million volunteer hours to programs in 2015.
